CONGRESS INVITATION
Dear Participants,
We are very pleased and honored to invite you to the “IV. International Congress on Artificial Intelligence in Health”, which we plan to hold in Izmir between November 15-17, 2024, hosted by Izmir Bakırçay University and with the contributions of the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK), Presidency of Turkish Institutes of Health (TÜSEB), Dokuz Eylül University, Izmir Tınaztepe University, Yaşar University, Yozgat Bozok University, Turkish Orthopedics and Traumatology Association (TOTBİD), International Association for Artificial Intelligence in Health and DEU Bioİzmir Application and Research Center. International Congress on Artificial Intelligence in Health” in Izmir with the contributions of DEU Bioİmir Application and Research Center.
The theme of this year's congress is “Artificial Intelligence and Human-Machine Interaction in Health”. In our congress, there will be thematic panels, presentations and oral presentations where national and international experts will share their knowledge and experiences on R&D studies, usage areas and what awaits us in the future of technologies and artificial intelligence-based applications in different fields of health. In addition, the one-day Artificial Intelligence in Health Congress 2024 Preparation Camp, which will be realized practically, is planned this year on the theme of human machine interface technologies.
We increasingly interact with machines and computers in our daily lives. Graphical user interfaces that allow human operators to monitor and control equipment and machines are called human-machine interfaces. While developments in the field of neuroscience continue to surprise us every day, with advances in artificial intelligence and communication technologies, this interaction is progressing at a dizzying pace and has become very popular in the field of health in recent years. The most important examples are brain-machine interaction and Chatbots. Within the scope of this congress, the development of artificial intelligence technologies and systems based on intelligent techniques in the field of health, which are directly related to human-machine interfaces or related to public life, will be discussed. In this context, it is aimed to strengthen the cooperation of stakeholders by approaching issues such as sectoral collaborations for the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem in the field of health, public and private sector digital transformation, development of robotic technologies, data modeling and analytics tools that support medical diagnosis, diagnosis and treatment decision processes, legal and ethical issues. It is thought that our congress can make new breakthroughs in developing human-machine interfaces with artificial intelligence tools in the field of health in our country and that the studies presented can guide policy makers.
We thank you for your contributions to our congress with your knowledge, experience and sharing.
Love and Regards,
Prof. Dr. Mustafa BERKTAŞ
